Anne took up the flute when she was 14 years old. Within two years, she had passed AMEB Grade 5, performed Vaughan-Williams’ Fantasia on Greensleeves at the Sydney Opera House and gained entry to the Conservatorium High School.
Anne has a lively chamber, orchestral and solo career. With the Windbags Wind Quintet she performed for Musica Viva’s Education Performance Project and Regional Touring Program and supported Dire Straits at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
She played in the professional productions of Les Miserables, A Little Night Music (Sydney Theatre Co), The Sound of Music, Porgy and Bess (Broadway touring cast) and the Bolshoi Ballet Australian tour.
She plays with Penrith Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with classical-guitarist husband, Alan Plummer.
